Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She anchors SportsNation as well as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She joined ESPN as a reporter in the year 2016. She is the daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a journalist on television. Antonietta Collins is bilingual and has been since her age of nine. Her ability in this area helped her to get her first job with Univision, Miami. She worked alongside national producers on shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Following this it was announced that her CBS affiliate in St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. In 2009 she relocated away from Texas to Rio Grande Valley where she became a news correspondent at KNVO TV 48 Univision. At some point they moved from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. She is younger than her sister. The family in 1992 left Mexico and relocated to Miami. In 1992, the couple divorced and shortly afterward in 1995 she got married again Fabio Fajardo who was naval engineer, who passed away in the year 2006 due to kidney cancer. Her residence was with her family in Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime and was provided with an opportunity to work. Antonietta was the senior of her high school however, she was very aware of what she wanted to do in her future career. She visited Mount Union University to find out if the school was suitable for her. The result was that she enjoyed the university, and the university offered the major she wanted. After graduation, she attended the university with an undergraduate major in media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU and WRMU, which she is a member. They developed a close relationship. It was he who inspired her confidence and whose passion for Journalism deeply touched her.
